Like our customers we are also concerned about Hong Kong’s environment. By maintaining an online business model, we are able to keep waste to a minimum.
All our groceries are delivered in recyclable cardboard boxes or recyclable crates, which can be emptied and returned to our driver. During checkout, customer can select mode of delivery and choose from:
- Deliver in crate (this will need to be emptied and returned to the driver upon delivery)
- Deliver in recyclable cardboard box (this can be returned to our driver and we will reuse this)
This helps to avoid plastics bags and helps us to keep Hong Kong waste to a minimum.
Our delivery fleet is powered by Mercedes Benz using the most economical and efficient turbo diesel engines that exist. All vehicles are made to European’s highest standard complying with Euro 6 emission standards and are recognized by Hong Kong government as the most efficient of its kind. This helps to keep the air quality clean in Hong Kong and demonstrates our commitment in protecting Hong Kong’s environment.
To help the homeless in Hong Kong, we will be giving away grocery products on a regular basis to the local charities in Hong Kong. Our customers are welcome to nominate charities for this purpose and we will work with them accordingly.
